Les Notes à Béné means “Béné’s notes” in a not grammatically correct French, but it is supposed to sounds cool because of the pun it makes.
Originally, les Notes à Béné is a monthly newsletter (in French only) that compiles in two pdf pages creative writing, review of book, film or music I recently discovered. You can subscribe here (while the newsletter is in French, I am recommending films or books that are in other languages and sometimes share poems in English).
The advantage of this pseudo is the amount of things it can cover. I could write about candies, bikes, astronomy, travelling, engineering or gardening it would still be fine to call it my notes. So I trust that writing environmental notes under that same pseudo would do.
These environmental notes will summarize scientific articles, reports and debates; or list resources available to think about the environmental crisis and its solutions; or share the great job that people do to popularize environmental sciences; or propose some food for thoughts. Since the great summer of 2020 where the world has been stuck in a pandemic that finds its roots in habitats destruction, where it is 34°C in the Arctic, and people realize that racism also produces environmental and social injustice (among other ugly things), my environmental notes will be share here, in French or in English.
